November - December, 2015, at Cinéma Le France, 8 rue de la Valse, Saint-Etienne. The 11th annual festival screenings of recent feature-length and short LGBT films from around the world --in original languages with French or English subtitles. See the website below for more info.

December 5-8, 2015. Each year Lyon becomes the Capital of Lights as streets are lit up. Believing the city was saved by the Virgin Mary from a 1643 plague, the city in 1852 erected a statue to her, and the city lit up with candles in citizens' windows. 4-day events incude colored illumination of the Basilica of Fourvière, fireworks, and Place des Terreaux light shows.
