No remixes, no/ few female vocals, no fluff, no commercial music. 100% Testosterone men-only party. No dress restrictions or requirements.
June 24, 2015. Annual Québec statutory holiday. Pagan festivals long celebrated Summer Solstice longest day with bonfires. In Catholic countries the rites became associated with St John the Baptist. In Quebec it is their National Day, celebrated with enthusiasm and joy throughout the province. Montreal Tues/Wed festivities are centered in parc Maisonneuve, with entertainment.
June through August, 2015. For nine summer Saturday nights the skies over Montreal are filled with fireworks displays each year from La Ronde on Île Sainte-Hélène - pyrotechnics by the masters of the art from countries around the world, each based on a theme.
July 8-26, 2015, at 30+ venues around the city, most within walking distance of Metro stations Place-des-Arts, Saint-Laurent and Berri-UQAM. The Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal is the largest comedy festival in the world, attracting 1.25 million visitors every summer -- celebrating their 33rd anniversary in 2015!
