February 26 - March 8, 2015 Lady of the Camellias, at The Boston Opera House. Based on Alexander Dumas' novel, set to music of Chopin, the tragic affair of Marguerite, one of Paris' most sought-after courtesans, and Armand, a young country gentleman. Ongoing - March 8, 2015, the MFA Jean/ Frederic Sharf Visitor Center. Twenty iconic figures from Hollywood’s Golden Age photographed by Karsh over his life-long career; star quality in celebrity sitters photographed in their prime, including images of Humphrey Bogart, Judy Garland, Audrey Hepburn, Clark Gable, Gregory Peck, and more.
April 2-12, 2015. Annual LGBT film fest. This past year with over 120 films, 11 days of screenings at locations across Boston, Brookline, and Cambridge: Museum of Fine Arts, (465 Huntington Ave), Brattle Theatre (by Harvard Square, Cambridge), and Fenway Health Center (Boylston St, Boston). July 4, 2015. Annual Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, Hatch Shell concert on Charles River Esplanade, over 500,000 visitors. Six million Americans tune in on TV.
