June 12-14, 2015, annual Texas Hill Country festival on the grounds of the Old Blanco County Courthouse, 35 miles north of San Antonio. The festival features arts, crafts, and local lavender product vendors, plus tours of many nearby lavender farms, food, and cooking demonstrations too.

July 4, 2015. The Bigger Than Texas Parade & Block Party will feature singers, musicians and drag entertainers, near the gay bars around N Main Ave and W Laurel St, in the main grounds of Crocket Park 3pm-midnight. The Pride Bigger Than Texas Parade normally takes place at 9pm; the High Heel Race kicks off just before. Weekly Sunday BEER BUSTS at Club Essence, 1010 N Main.
