March 13 - August 16, 2015. This international touring exhibition shows the many different ways in which football, religion and society are intertwined. Photos, videos, historical artefacts, fan paraphernalia and personal memorabilia tell of latter-day heroes, high drama on the turf and a quasi-religious devotion to football as a sport.

Ongoing through March 28, 2015, at Gallery Daeppen. Illegality placarded work on billboards around the city: in front of a church, a supermarket, railway stations, bus stops, confronting passers-by with his messages with no fear: politics, religion, power, or social taboos - using simple shapes and gray tones to distinguish from advertising. Will work directly on the gallery walls.

March 28, 2015, 5pm-4am, at Bar Rouge. Party on the top floors of the Exhibition Tower, the tallest building in Basel. Women 23+  and Men 25+ Dress to Impress! Star guest: GIONATAN GIANNOTTI (Italian model/ TV star) + DJs Pepé, DuoRhythm, Deenasty, and Philly. Club brand combines black music, haute couture and a magnificent view.

Ongoing through April 1, 2015, at Kunstmuseum. The collection juxtaposes secular works of art with erotic and religious art from the Middle Ages to the present; Renaissance and Baroque master drawings share space with the arcane worlds of Surrealist painting; eccentric visions of the 18th century encounter the fantastic artifices of Mannerism; Symbolism and Pop Art meet on common ground.

May 22, 2015 at kult.kino atelier. Swiss film in German. The 13th edition of the Swiss film tour, with a selection of the best domestic and international short films. The Short Film Night is well established so get your tickets early if you want to come.

February 15-18, 2016. Three day carnival party, vividly colored costumes, drummers and piccolo players in the streets - held the week after Ash Wednesday, mostly concentrated in the city center. Monday 4am Morgestraich main parade, Wednesday afternoon Gugge music concerts, enactments of medieval rituals: dance of death (Totentanz) and masquerade (Mummenschanz).
