March, 2015. The Gay and Lesbian Awards (GALAS) have been set up by the National Lesbian and Gay Federation to honor lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgendered people and organisations for their contributions to Irish society, both north and south of the border.

March 19-29, 2015. Celebrating film as an art form, over 120 films from four corners of the globe. Citywide event takes place in Dublin City Centre Cinemas including: Cineworld, The Savoy, Screen, Irish Film Institute & Light House Cinema in Smithfield. March 27-29, 2015, annual weekend of bear festivities around the selection of Mr. Bear Ireland. See their website for photos and videos of previous events and news of other upcoming dates.

August Bank Holiday weekend, July 31 - August 3, 2015 (to be confirmed) - annual LGBT film festival at the Light House Cinema, in Smithfield. See their website for details about the festival and other screenings throughout the year.

Mid-September, 2015. Entertainment, discovery and adventure in Dublin and across Ireland - this past year in a record 30 towns, cities, counties and islands.  Arts and cultural organisations open their doors 5-11pm with hundreds of free events, tours, talks and performances. Late-October, 2015. Annual festival - life, work and legacy of Dublin horror novelist Bram Stoker and his gothic novel ‘Dracula’. Free pop-up performances, spine-chilling street theatre, sinister sounds; a city-wide Vampire Hunt, spooky open-air movies, blood curdling literary happenings, terrifying theatre, haunted walking tours and a very special event at Dublin Castle.
