April 9-12, 2015. Annual music festival & parades. Music stages are located at Jackson Square, Woldenberg Riverfront Park, Bourbon St, Royal St, Bienville St, the French Market, St. Mary’s at the Ursuline Convent, and Louisiana State Museum's Old U.S. Mint. September 2-7, 2015. Annual Labor Day Weekend celebrations, 100,000+ crowds; around-the-clock street/ dance parties; parade through the French Quarter. Revelers may shock some tourists (much to their delight!). Events include: Big Dick Contest, FRIDAY Parade, Boys on Parade Strip Contest, Outdoor Concert, Hot Ass Contest, SUNDAY Parade, T-Dance, Midnight Party, Closing Party.

February 4-9, 2016, the all-gay version of Mardi Gras lasts longer. (Isn't it always the case?) There's non-stop partying, and the main event is the coronation of the King Cake Queen in the French Quarter. Bourbon Pub is at the center of it all, open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
