The Media Awards ceremony was created to encourage Israeli media to create LGBT content, and promote fair representations, relating to issues affecting the LGBT community.

March 4-5, 2015. Purim, a Jewish holiday similar to Halloween, is the gayest holiday in Judaism. The Purim weekend carnival follows holy days, featuring costume parties and street celebrations of all kinds - for men, women, and mixed, plus after parties at the clubs, mostly on and/or around Rothschild Blvd.

June 6-15, 2015 at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque & Tel Aviv LGBT Community Center; during Pride Week with public screenings of films with no Israeli distribution, meetings with local & foreign filmmakers, panel discussions & special events. June 12, 2015. Parade from Gan Meir gay community Pride Village music stages, activity booths - down Bograshov onto Ben Yehuda, then Ben Gurion Blvd. and then to Gordon beach for big party there. 100,000 participants expected.
